Cabinet fans
BOX type fans are centrifugal fans mounted in sound-insulated enclosures — a direct-drive centrifugal rotor, positioned on anti-vibration supports inside a metal casing with sound and thermally insulated walls. The sound-insulated construction solves one of the most frequent problems for installers and investors: how to achieve the airflow and pressure of an industrial centrifugal fan without the noise in adjacent spaces.
Why Choose BOX Type Fans Over a Standard Centrifugal Fan
Genuinely reduced noise: the sound-absorbing insulation and anti-vibration supports reduce the perceived noise level in the space by 6–12 dB compared to the same fan mounted without an enclosure — a difference meaning half or a quarter of the subjectively perceived noise.
Simplified maintenance: screw-mounted removable panels (BOX BD PLUS and BOX CF HP) allow complete access to the fan without dismantling ductwork — inspection, cleaning and parts replacement in 10–15 minutes.
Mounting flexibility: the parallelepiped casing with rectangular flanges allows mounting in any orientation (horizontal, vertical, suspended) and connection to rectangular or circular ductwork via standard adaptors.
