Linear speed controllers — continuous 0–100% control for single-phase and analogue signal fans

Linear speed controllers provide continuous, stepless fan speed adjustment — from 0% to 100% of nominal speed. Unlike stepped controllers which switch between 3–5 fixed speeds, linear controllers allow any intermediate setting, essential when noise level or precise airflow must be optimised for a specific space.

Available types — Manual control: rotary potentiometer wall or panel mounted. Simple solution for residential and small commercial installations where adjustment is infrequent and automation is not required. 0-10V analogue control: the controller accepts an external signal from a CO₂ sensor, thermostat or BMS controller and automatically adjusts fan speed proportionally. Standard solution for Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV) in offices, meeting rooms, restaurants and any space with variable occupancy. Multifunctional: combines manual control with 0-10V signal input and additional functions (timer, motor blocking protection, automatic reduced-speed night mode).

Compatibility: AC single-phase motors at 230V, 50Hz. Verify the controller's maximum rated current against the fan motor current before ordering. For EC motors, use the EC motor switches from the Switches-Potentiometers range.
