Compact air filters — panel type for ventilation units and AHU

Compact filters are small panel filters for residential and small commercial ventilation units, heat recovery units and any air handling equipment where available filter space is limited.

Construction: rigid cardboard or plastic frame, pleated synthetic fibre or glass fibre filter media — increased filtration area relative to the outer dimensions means lower airflow resistance and longer intervals between replacements.

G4 filtration class — the standard for the primary filter of any ventilation system. Captures visible dust particles, insects, fluff and large airborne particles before they reach AHU components (fans, heating coils, heat exchangers). Extends system service life and reduces the frequency of internal cleaning.

Replacement: every 3–6 months under normal conditions, or more frequently in dusty environments. A clogged filter increases system hydraulic resistance, reduces delivered airflow and overloads the fan motor.
