Ductwork accessories ventilation bends reducers T-pieces | ventilation.ro
The Ductwork and Accessories range covers all the constructive elements needed to build the duct run of a ventilation installation — from the circular spiral duct forming the main trunks, to fittings enabling direction changes, branching or diameter changes, and mounting elements that fix and support the network. Rigid spiral duct: circular galvanised steel duct produced by mechanical spiralling, the most widely used for ventilation and air conditioning. Available in standard diameters from Ø100 to Ø1,000 mm and above, in 1 m or 3 m standard lengths. T-pieces: branching a circular run into two directions — equal T (same diameter on all three connections) and reducing T (smaller branch diameter). Bends: direction change at standard angles of 45° or 90°. Large-radius bends reduce pressure drop compared to tight-radius bends. Reducers: transition from one diameter to another, needed as airflow reduces along the run after each branch. Backdraught shutters: prevent air backflow through the duct when the fan is stopped. Anti-vibration flexible connection: short rubber connection between fan flange and rigid duct — eliminates vibration transmission. Mandatory at every fan connected to a rigid duct network. Rain cover: cap at the end of the external exhaust duct — prevents rain, dust and insects entering when the fan is stopped. Duct hangers/supports: metal clamps fixed to ceilings or beams to support ductwork.
