Livestock Farm Ventilation — HJB Belt Drive Fans for Intensive Production
Correct ventilation is the number 1 productivity factor in an intensive farm. NH₃ (ammonia) above 20 ppm reduces broiler growth rate by 5–10%. Temperatures above 28°C in summer reduce dairy cow milk production by 10–20%. H₂S above 5 ppm endangers staff and animal health.
HJB axial fans on ventilation.ro: zinc-coated steel casing, AISI 304 stainless rotor (ammonia and moisture resistant, 2–3× longer service life than galvanised rotors), spring-return gravity dampers (close automatically on shutdown — prevent cold draughts causing pneumonia in young chicks), lateral access door for motor inspection without dismantling. IP55 asynchronous motor, Class F, 400V three-phase.
