The COPRA™ PA-C31-EJ56-C0000 centrifugal plug fan from Nicotra Gebhardt represents a new generation of plug fans for air handling units (AHUs), fan arrays and data centres — built around an internal PM/EC short-rotor motor that does not obstruct airflow through the impeller blades.

COPRA™ technology — why the internal motor matters:

The internal-rotor motor is very short and its motor hub does not recede into the impeller, so it does not obstruct the impeller airflow. The perfect combination of impeller and motor ensures maximum airflow with the highest possible efficiency and no mutual aerodynamic interference. The practical result: high efficiency including at partial loads — the most frequent operating regime in real AHU operation.

Why PA-C31-EJ56-C0000 versus adjacent models in the COPRA™ range: The EJ56 model (Ø315mm) on the C31 housing covers airflows of 5,100 m³/h at 912 Pa optimal pressure — positioned between the PA-C31-EJ46-C0000 (same housing, lower power) and the PA-C35-EM46-C0000 (larger housing, Ø355mm). The correct choice when the mounting space accommodates the C31 housing and the system requires 5,100 m³/h airflow.
