Mechanical Workshop Ventilation —  Products for Metal Dust, Oil Mist and Emulsions

Mechanical workshops with lathes, milling machines, machining centres, grinders and polishers are among the most polluted work environments in industry. Fine metal particles (below 10 microns), cutting oil mist, cooling emulsion vapours and machine heat emissions quickly exceed SSM limit values without a correctly sized ventilation system. Recommended standard: 20–30 air changes per hour. The complete system combines local ventilation (source capture at each machine tool) with general ventilation (whole-volume air dilution), complemented by G4/F7 air filters protecting fan rotors from contaminated air.
