Casals HJBM PLUS 45 T4 — three-phase wall axial fan for high-capacity industrial ventilation, manufactured in Spain.

Maximum airflow 7,270 m³/h at 1,440 rpm, power 0.55 kW, rated current 1.49A at 400V / 2.57A at 230V, motor efficiency 73.5%.

Square frame in galvanised steel sheet with C4 anti-corrosion finish — certified resistance to aggressive industrial environments, ammonia and intensive moisture.

Variable pitch angle polyamide impeller reinforced with fibreglass, 6 blades, adjustable at installation. Asynchronous squirrel-cage motor IP55 (terminal box IP65), insulation Class F, maximum working temperature 60°C.

ERP efficiency grade N=43.6 — exceeds mandatory European minimum of 40.

Is a 400V three-phase panel mandatory? Yes — the T4 motor requires 400V three-phase supply in star (Y) connection. It cannot be connected to a standard single-phase 230V socket. If three-phase is not available, opt for the HJBM PLUS 45 M4 0.37kW (single-phase 230V, ~5,630 m³/h).

Which speed controller is recommended? Casals SFC 400 III 2.2A (REF: SFC400III2) for three-phase 400V speed control. Do not use the single-phase SFC 230 controller for this model.

Does C4 finish protect against ammonia in poultry farms? Yes — C4 finish to ISO 12944 provides protection in high-corrosivity environments including NH₃ and H₂S generated by large poultry flocks. This is precisely why HJBM PLUS is the recommended choice for livestock and poultry buildings over standard models without C4.
