EC motor roof fans
EC motor roof fans — maximum energy efficiency for roof ventilation
EC motor roof fans bring the same energy efficiency revolution to the rooftop that the EC motor has produced for wall and incorporable fans. The difference from traditional AC roof units is identical: permanent magnet motor, integrated controller, 90–95% efficiency, 30–50% lower consumption at partial loads — but at the scale of an industrial rooftop with 6–10 units, the annual savings become substantial.
Concrete example: an industrial hall with 8 EC roof units of 1.1 kW each, running 14 hours/day, 250 working days: EC consumption ≈ 8 × 1.1 × 0.65 × 14 × 250 = 25,025 kWh/year vs AC: 8 × 1.1 × 14 × 250 = 30,800 kWh/year. Difference: 5,775 kWh/year saved at a single industrial facility.
Integrated 0-10V or Modbus control enables direct connection to hall temperature sensors or BMS: in summer, when interior temperature rises, the roof units automatically accelerate; on cooler days or at night, they automatically reduce to base airflow. The result: consistent thermal comfort at minimum consumption.
Available in axial (high airflow, low pressure) and centrifugal (higher static pressure, quieter) variants, diameters 400–1,000 mm, single-phase and three-phase, energy class A+.
