Smoke Extract Roof Fan - RWM 57-2528-2W-11

The RWM 57-2528-2W-11 is the 2-pole motor version (2,835 RPM) of the RWM 57 series — the solution for applications where high static pressure is the dominant requirement rather than airflow. With static pressure up to 1,000 Pa at low airflow, this model covers tunnels with high aerodynamic resistance or systems with long ductwork and multiple bends, where 4 or 6-pole models can no longer maintain the required pressure. The smallest casing in the range (Ø286mm, 42 kg) facilitates installation in confined plant rooms.

The Nicotra Gebhardt RWM 57 series comprises wall-mounted fans for smoke extraction in the event of fire, certified for operation at 600°C for 120 minutes — the highest fire resistance class in standard DIN EN 12101-3. This certification exceeds the standard F400 class and is mandatory in road tunnels, railway tunnels and buildings with extreme fire risk.

The essential construction feature: the motor is positioned completely outside the hot gas zone and cooled by outside air — the only solution that allows operation at 600°C without motor damage.
