Smoke extract wall fan - RWM 57-4045-4W-13

The first model in the RWM 57 series with a Ø438mm casing and a 1.1 kW high-efficiency IE2 motor — suitable for tunnels and buildings with exhaust cross-sections larger than those accommodated by the Ø395mm casing models. Airflow of up to 8,000 m³/h at 700 Pa static pressure covers large-capacity road tunnels and industrial halls with high exhaust volume requirements. Also available with a 6-pole motor on the same casing (RWM 57-4045-6W-10) for noise-restricted applications.

The Nicotra Gebhardt RWM 57 series comprises wall-mounted fans for smoke extraction in the event of fire, certified for operation at 600°C for 120 minutes — the highest fire resistance class in standard DIN EN 12101-3. This certification exceeds the standard F400 class and is mandatory in road tunnels, railway tunnels and buildings with extreme fire risk.

The essential construction feature: the motor is positioned completely outside the hot gas zone and cooled by outside air — the only solution that allows operation at 600°C without motor damage.

Construction: robust galvanised steel casing · galvanised steel intake cone with DIN 24155-2 flange connection · backward curved welded coated steel impeller · all mechanically stressed parts in galvanised or painted steel · IE2 motor completely outside the gas flow · loose feed cable to motor connection box.

All models are certified to DIN EN 12101-3, with horizontal discharge, RD rotation, standard handing 90.
