The Nicotra Gebhardt RWM 57-3540-4W-10 is a wall-mounted smoke extraction fan certified for operation at 600°C for 120 minutes — the highest fire resistance class in the European standard DIN EN 12101-3. This certification places it above the F400 range (400°C/2h) and makes it the mandatory solution for applications with extreme fire risk.

When 600°C certification is required instead of F400:

Regulation P118-1:2025 mandates F400 for car parks, high-rise buildings and standard high-risk structures. The 600°C certification is required in special applications where smoke temperatures can exceed 400°C — road and railway tunnels, industrial buildings with intense combustion processes, thermal power plants and energy facilities, warehouses with high-density flammable materials. Any project where the specific regulation or fire safety expert mandates resistance to temperatures above 400°C requires a fan from this category.

The essential construction feature — motor outside the hot gas zone:

At 600°C, no standard electric motor can survive in the hot gas stream. The Nicotra Gebhardt RWM solution is that the motor is positioned completely outside the hot gas zone and cooled by outside air — cool external air is directed to the motor independently of the extracted hot gases. This is the fundamental constructive difference from through-flow motor fans, which are limited to 400°C maximum.

Construction:

  • Robust galvanised steel sheet casing
  • Galvanised steel intake cone with connecting flange to DIN 24155-2
  • Inlet guard as standard to DIN EN ISO 13857
  • Backward curved impeller of welded coated sheet steel
  • All mechanically stressed parts in galvanised or painted steel
  • IE2 motor, 4-pole, completely outside the hot gas zone, cooled by outside air
  • Feed line loose cable to motor connection box

  • Industrial halls with intense combustion processes
  • Thermal power plants and energy facilities
  • Industrial buildings with extreme fire risk
  • Any application where the fire safety expert or specific regulation requires resistance to temperatures above 400°C

Difference from the Casals F400 range: Casals products in the ventilation.ro portfolio (DHUMAT, HMF, IGNÉO) are F400 certified — suitable for car parks, high-rise buildings, shopping centres and most high-risk structures. The Nicotra Gebhardt RWM 57 is the solution for special applications where F400 is not sufficient. Both ranges are available in stock, with complete documentation for fire authority approval.

Price does not include ductwork connection accessories. Discharge orientation: RD / Handing 90.
