EME5 switch disconnectors are motor maintenance and repair switches. They can also act as enclosed main switches for individual electrical loads. The red-on-yellow switch is padlockable in OFF-position. This prevents motor activation during maintenance activities. The forced open contacts fulfil load break requirements up to 690 VAC. This makes them also suitable as motor emergency ON-OFF switch. The switchgear is housed in a moulded enclosure with an IP65 sealing. Switching capacity: 20 A (AC21A) or 2,2 kW (AC3), 2 poles.
