Polypropylene centrifugal fan with ATEX Zone 2 certification — for corrosive air transport in environments with occasional explosion risk.
Fully antistatic polypropylene construction with II2G Eex-d IIC T4 motor, IP-55, Class F insulation. Maximum airflow 2,390 m³/h, design point 1,500 m³/h @ 250 Pa, inlet diameter Ø250 mm, power 0.25 kW / 400V three-phase.
ATEX II3G certified under Directive 2014/34/UE. Maximum transported air temperature: 70°C (clean air) — varies by corrosive gas.
Typical applications: chemical and petrochemical industry, laboratory extraction cabinets, chemical coating plants (zinc plating, phosphating), environments with acid vapours, alkalis or organic solvents in Zone 2.

The Casals MBPX 31 T4 0.25kW centrifugal fan is designed for corrosive air transport in ATEX Zone 2 classified environments — where an explosive atmosphere may occasionally occur during normal operation. Its fully polypropylene construction combined with a II2G Eex-d certified motor makes it the correct solution for chemical and petrochemical industry, laboratory extraction cabinets, chemical coating plants and any application where the air simultaneously contains corrosive and flammable vapours.
ATEX certification: Certified ATEX II3G (Zone 2, gas) and II3D (Zone 22, dust) under Directive 2014/34/EU. The installed motor is II2G Eex-d IIC T4 — one category more restrictive than the Zone 2 minimum requirement — providing an additional safety margin.
Construction:
- Antistatic PE-el polypropylene housing — resistant to acids, alkalis, chlorine vapours and saline solutions
- Backward curved polypropylene impeller — dynamically balanced, self-cleaning
- Motor support in rolled steel sheet with epoxy polyester powder coat — corrosion protected
- Stainless steel nuts and bolts throughout
- Squirrel-cage asynchronous motor, IP-55, Class F insulation, 230/400V 50Hz
