The HP 450 discharge reducer connects the most powerful fan in the CF HP range — the CF 7.5 HP — to Ø450 mm circular extract ductwork. It transitions from the large 600×490 mm rectangular discharge to the standard Ø450 mm circular duct used in industrial kitchen ventilation systems.
CF 7.5 HP APPLICATION PROFILE — INDUSTRIAL KITCHENS: The CF 7.5 HP serves large industrial kitchens — collective catering with hundreds of covers, large hotel restaurants, food production facilities, high-volume fast food operations. At these airflow rates, Ø450 mm ductwork maintains air velocity below 6–8 m/s, limiting pressure losses and flow-generated noise.
LARGE FORMAT INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS: The 600×490 mm rectangular connection of the HP 450 is significantly larger than other reducers in the range. Installation requires adequate technical space above or beside the fan, appropriately sized duct support structure for Ø450 mm ductwork weight, and critical attention to sealing at the joint — any leakage at this dimension produces significant pressure loss and flow noise.
