REINTAIR WARRIOR vs REINTAIR EC — what the WARRIOR version adds

The REINTAIR EC range provides mechanical HEPA H14 filtration — physically capturing airborne particles including viruses and bacteria with 99.995% efficiency.

The WARRIOR variant adds the PHOTOCATALYSIS-UVC TOWER — an additional layer of chemical deactivation that complements mechanical filtration:

Mechanical filtration HEPA H14 → captures particles UV-C + TiO₂ photocatalysis → destroys captured particles and chemically deactivates microorganisms passing through the radiation field

The photocatalytic oxidation process combines UV-C radiation with titanium dioxide (TiO₂) catalyst, producing free hydroxyl radicals and superoxide ions that attack the cellular structure of microorganisms — breaking apart intracellular mass and DNA/RNA chromosomes into harmless water molecules, CO₂ and detritus.

Practical result: REINTAIR WARRIOR does not merely retain particles like a conventional filter — it also chemically neutralises them. Captured bacteria and viruses do not survive in the filter and cannot be redistributed into the air during filter replacement.

4-stage filtration system — detailed

Stages 1 and 3 — 2× ISO Coarse 65% pre-filter (G4) One G4 pre-filter on each perforated side panel of the unit. Captures large particles — coarse dust, lint, fibres. Protects the downstream HEPA H14 filters, significantly extending their service life. Accessible directly through quick-release side panels.

Stages 2 and 4 — 2× HEPA H14 filter HEPA H14 is the superior class above HEPA H13 — retains 99.995% of 0.3-micron particles versus 99.9% at H13. For viruses with 0.1–0.3 micron diameter, the difference is significant. H14 is the class used in pharmaceutical clean rooms and precision surgery suites.

PHOTOCATALYSIS-UVC Tower Installed at the centre of the structure, processing air after passing through the HEPA filters. The UV-C lamp + TiO₂ catalyst deactivates any microorganism that passed through the filter or present in recirculated air.

Soundproofed structure — why it matters for offices and clinics

The REINTAIR WARRIOR casing is constructed from 30mm extruded aluminium profile with nylon corners, pre-lacquered steel sandwich panels in RAL 9006, 25mm rockwool insulation class A1 (non-combustible, 90 kg/m³ density) and M0 fire reaction class. This construction significantly reduces EC motor noise compared to a simple-casing purifier — directly relevant for offices, classrooms and hospital rooms where equipment noise level matters.

FAQ — EN

What is the difference between HEPA H13 and HEPA H14? H13 retains 99.9% of 0.3-micron particles. H14 retains 99.995% — 50× more efficient at the particles that pass through. For viruses and fine bacteria, this difference is critical in medical environments. REINTAIR WARRIOR uses H14 — the class used in clean rooms and operating theatres.

Why photocatalysis TiO₂ in addition to the HEPA H14 filter? A HEPA H14 filter captures particles mechanically — it does not destroy them. A virus captured in the filter can survive for days. UV-C + TiO₂ photocatalysis chemically deactivates captured microorganisms and those in recirculated air — filters do not become biological reservoirs.

Can it operate continuously 24/7? Yes — the EC motor and soundproofed construction are designed for continuous operation. Night mode automatically reduces airflow during inactive hours for energy saving and minimal noise.

How often are filters replaced? The control panel has automatic clogging alarm — replace when signalled, not on a fixed interval. Under normal office conditions: G4 pre-filters every 3–6 months, HEPA H14 filters every 12–18 months. Filter access via quick-release side panels without tools in a few minutes.
