T1P 1000x350 mm Single Deflection Wall Grille, RAL 9010 — One Metre Long
Single deflection, in brief
The T1P grille has one row of individually adjustable blades, parallel to the 1000 mm side. Each blade is positioned by hand, and their angle aims the air jet in a single plane.
Double deflection grilles have two stacked rows and allow aiming in both planes, at higher cost. For most applications, single deflection is enough.
The advantage of the one-metre format: distribution along the length
This is the difference that matters, and it isn't only about airflow.
A square or near-square grille introduces air from a single point: the jet starts concentrated and disperses as it travels. In a large room, that means one well-ventilated zone in line with the grille and weaker coverage to the sides.
A one-metre grille distributes air across the whole width of the wall: the jet is wider, flatter and covers a much larger area evenly. The practical result — more uniform temperature, without cold spots or draughty zones.
At 0.35 m² face area, the format handles high airflow at low velocity: less noise for the same amount of air.
Appearance: a line, not a rectangle
On a wall, a long low grille reads as a horizontal architectural element, not an applied technical accessory. That is why architects prefer elongated formats in finished spaces.
Painting in RAL 9010 (pure white) takes the effect further: on a white wall, the grille almost disappears. It is the most widely used white in construction — cleaner than natural silver aluminium, which stands out against any light surface.
Where it is used
- Conference rooms and lecture halls — supply along a long wall
- Showrooms and large retail — even distribution across a zone
- Open-plan offices — avoiding concentrated draught points
- Restaurants and HoReCa
- Lobbies and reception areas — where the grille is visible and must stay discreet
- Light industrial halls with comfort requirements
Seasonal adjustment
- In cooling, cold air is denser and falls by itself; aim the jet horizontally or slightly upwards so it mixes before reaching the occupied zone
- In heating, warm air rises and stratifies; aim the blades downwards to push heat towards people
At one metre long, adjustment can be made in sections: the end blades can be aimed sideways into the room corners, the middle ones straight ahead. Short formats don't offer that.

FAQ
Are the blades fixed at 45°? No — they are individually adjustable to any position. The fixed 45° angle belongs to return air grilles (TEP series) and exterior grilles.
Why choose one metre instead of two shorter grilles? For even distribution and appearance: one frame, one line on the wall, no joint between elements. Adjustment can also be made in sections — ends sideways, middle straight ahead.
Can I control airflow as well as direction? Not from the blades. For airflow, order the T1P-D version with an integrated damper, or fit a separate damper behind the grille.
