The TEP grille has one row of fixed blades set at 45°, parallel to the 600 mm side.

Wall or ceiling — the same grille

• On the ceiling — the usual position in spaces with suspended ceilings; warm stale air rises naturally and is drawn off at the highest level. At this size, it is the most common configuration.
• High on the wall — where the ceiling won't take ductwork
• Low on the wall — for heavy-air extract (garages, plant rooms, laboratories)

Construction

Anodised aluminium — the oxide layer protects against corrosion, does not flake and withstands repeated cleaning. Important on return grilles, which accumulate dust over time.

Electrostatic RAL painting to order — at 0.30 m² the grille is a visible element, so painting to match the ceiling or wall is frequently specified.

Versions available to order

Two recommendations at this size: TEP-D with integrated damper, because a grille extracting high airflow needs precise balancing; and TEP-E accessible, for extract from dusty or greasy spaces — at 0.30 m², removing the grille from the ceiling is no small job.

Can the blades be adjusted? No — they are fixed at 45°. This is a return grille, where air direction doesn't matter. For adjustable blades you need a supply grille.

What airflow can it extract? It depends on the permitted velocity and acceptable noise level. At 0.30 m² it covers high airflows, but correct sizing comes from the design. Send us your extract airflow and room use; we'll check free of charge.

Is it too large for an ordinary room? Probably. For single offices, hotel rooms or bathrooms, TEP 350x100 or other small sizes suit better.

Can it be ceiling mounted? Yes — at this size, false-ceiling mounting is in fact the usual configuration.

How is it cleaned? With a soft cloth, no solvents or abrasives. For extract from kitchens, workshops or laundries, we recommend the accessible TEP-E version.
