3. 4 circular anodised aluminium extract grilles

Four circular grilles with flange for direct connection to Ø200 mm ductwork — discreet circular design, corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium, uniform aesthetics on ceiling or wall. Each grille is an extraction point in the ventilated space, distributing air extraction uniformly across the served area.

4. Gravity backdraft damper

Mounted at the exterior discharge point, the gravity backdraft damper opens automatically under fan pressure and closes by gravity when the fan stops — preventing cold air, rain, insects or external odours from entering the duct when the system is off. Passive operation, no electrical components, no maintenance.

5. Electronic speed controller with ON/OFF

The included electronic controller allows continuous adjustment of fan speed and consequently extract airflow — from minimum speed to maximum of 3,990 m³/h. The integrated ON/OFF switch allows complete system shutdown without disconnecting electrical supply. Energy efficiency: at reduced airflow, power consumption falls proportionally with speed, significantly reducing operating costs compared to a constant-volume system.

The DD 9/9 M96R motor is enclosed type with extruded aluminium casing, IP54 (dust and water splash protection), Class F insulation (155°C winding resistance), fully enclosed IP65 terminal box. Electrical standard: 230V / 50Hz single-phase. Maximum operating temperature: 50°C.

Does the kit include everything needed for installation? The kit includes all main components — fan in acoustic box, ductwork, grilles and controller. Not included: power supply cable (selected based on distance from the electrical panel), ductwork fixing brackets and clamps, and wall/ceiling fixings (selected based on building structure).

Can I add more grilles than the 4 included? Yes — the fan's total airflow allows connection of a greater number of grilles. Contact us for optimal distribution calculation based on the area and geometry of the space.

Is it quiet in operation? The Class A1 polyurethane-insulated plenum box significantly reduces noise transmitted to the space. The exact noise level depends on the set speed and distance from the unit. At reduced speeds, operation is practically imperceptible in office environments.

Can it be installed outdoors? No — the fan and controller are for indoor installation (IP54 and IP65 terminal box respectively). The kit is installed indoors, with air discharged to the exterior through the backdraft damper grille.
