The TEP grille has one row of fixed blades set at 45°. 

The square format — a practical detail

At 400x400 mm the grille has 0.16 m² face area and fits one way only: being square, there is no risk of reversing the dimensions when ordering or the orientation when installing.

That matters more than it seems on a grille installed once, with a perimeter seal: refitting because of a misorientation means redoing the whole installation.

Can the blades be adjusted? No — they are fixed at 45°. This is a return grille, where air direction doesn't matter.

How often should it be cleaned? It depends on the space: in an office, once a year is enough; in a kitchen or workshop, two to four times. If you notice the air "isn't changing like it used to" or doors becoming harder to close, that's the first sign extract has dropped.

How is it cleaned? With a soft cloth, dry or slightly damp, without solvents or abrasives that would damage the anodised layer. For grease deposits, a diluted neutral detergent.

Is the accessible version worth it? In offices and clean spaces, not necessarily. In kitchens, workshops, laundries or on grilles mounted at height — yes, without hesitation: the price difference pays for itself at the first cleaning you don't have to dismantle for.
