Casals Kubalik 300 — reversible axial wall and window fan 1,050 m³/h with automatic backdraft damper

The Casals Kubalik 300 is the high-airflow version of the Kubalik reversible axial fan range, delivering up to 1,050 m³/h through a wall or window — more than double the capacity of the Kubalik 230 — while retaining the same core features: reversible operation, automatic backdraft damper, UV-resistant ABS construction and self-lubricating bearings.

When to choose the Kubalik 300 over the Kubalik 230

The choice between the two models comes down to the airflow requirement of the space. As a rule, the Kubalik 230 at 450 m³/h covers rooms up to approximately 80–120 m² depending on the number of air changes per hour required. The Kubalik 300 at 1,050 m³/h is the correct choice when:

• The room exceeds 100 m² and requires 4 or more air changes per hour
• The application generates intense odours or high humidity requiring rapid extraction (professional kitchen support, large bathrooms, laundry rooms)
• The installation serves multiple small rooms ventilated through a single extraction point
• A commercial space (restaurant, pub, gym, small workshop) requires direct wall extraction without ductwork

Reversible operation and automatic backdraft damper

Identical in function to the Kubalik 230 — the fan operates in extraction or supply mode as set at installation. The automatic backdraft damper closes fully when the fan is off, preventing draughts, rain, insects and odour return. No manual operation required.

Construction and materials

UV-resistant ABS housing and impeller — durable in both indoor and outdoor exposure. Self-lubricating bearings for long maintenance-free service life. Integrated thermal motor protection for automatic overload shutdown and restart.

Available options

Like the Kubalik 230, the Kubalik 300 is available with:

• Humidity sensor — automatic activation above a set humidity threshold
• Timer — timed run-on after switching off
• CO₂ kit — demand-controlled ventilation based on CO₂ concentration

Controller

For optimum variable speed performance use a Vent-Axia 1.5 Amp electronic controller. Surface mounted providing variable speed control with an On/Off/sensor slider with indication light. There is an adjustable minimum speed setting. The controller has electrical connections for use with suitable external sensors. Cannot be used with timer models.
