Can it be used to fix wall-mounted fans? Yes. Perforated mounting tape is widely used to secure small-diameter wall fans (Ø100–200 mm) to uneven surfaces or steel structures. Wrap it around the fan casing and fix both ends with screws into the wall or supporting structure.

How easy is it to cut to the required length on site? It cuts cleanly with any pair of tin snips or a heavy-duty craft knife. No angle grinder or power tools needed. The uniform perforations make straight cutting straightforward — mark a perforation as a reference point and cut along the line.

Is it moisture-resistant? Can it be used in bathrooms or kitchens? Yes. The material is galvanised steel — the zinc coating provides corrosion protection in conditions of normal humidity, including bathrooms, kitchens and spaces with occasional condensation. It is not recommended for permanently wet environments or areas with chemical corrosives — for those applications, stainless steel variants are more appropriate.
