In underground car parks, general ventilation should follow CO and NO₂ levels instead of running non-stop at full airflow. With a toxic gas sensor connected to the analog input, the MV810G1-4T5.5B raises fan speed only when needed. Energy use and noise drop significantly during low-traffic hours.

In air handling units, the drive allows fine airflow adjustment during commissioning, without dampers that waste energy.

Can I use the drive on a smoke extraction fan?
Smoke extraction systems have special requirements for operation during a fire, defined by the project design and the fire authority approval. Contact us to agree the right solution together with the system designer.

How do I control car park ventilation by CO level?
Connect a CO/NO₂ sensor with a 0–10 V or 4–20 mA output to the analog input. Fan speed then follows the gas concentration automatically.

Can the drive replace a control damper?
Yes. Controlling airflow by fan speed uses far less energy than throttling with a damper.
