Casals BD 12/12 T6 — centrifugal fan with double width double inlet (DWDI), designed for assembly in ventilation boxes, air handling units (AHU) and industrial kitchen hoods.

Maximum airflow 6,450 m³/h at 945 rpm, power 1.1 kW, motor efficiency 78.1%, ERP efficiency grade N=47.86 — exceeds European requirement of 44.

PA6 polyamide fibreglass-reinforced impeller with forward curved double inlet blades. Galvanised steel casing.

Three-phase STC90 motor, current 3.78A at 400V / 6.54A at 230V, motor protection IP54, terminal box IP65, insulation Class F, maximum air temperature 60°C.

Exclusive Casals motor-impeller fixing system via flexible silent block arms — vibrations eliminated at source. Mounting feet included.

What is the difference between BD and Nicotra DDM? Both are DWDI fans for AHU and ventilation boxes. Casals BD uses PA6 impeller on larger models and the exclusive silent block vibration isolation system. Nicotra DDM has galvanised steel impeller and ERM high-efficiency motor. Choice depends on stock availability and project specifications — both are top European quality.

Is fat filtering mandatory for professional kitchen hood use? Yes — the Casals datasheet specifies "use in supply or extraction with prior fat filtering". Without a fat filter upstream, grease accumulation on the PA6 impeller causes dynamic imbalance over time.

Can I order spare parts individually? Yes — casing, PA6 impeller, motor and mounting support have individual REF codes available on request. Contact ventilation.ro with the required REF code.
