Is CHR 800 mandatory for nZEB buildings? Yes — the nZEB normative in force from 2023 requires mechanical ventilation with heat recovery for new residential buildings. CHR 800 with Eurovent-certified heat exchanger meets this requirement. We provide the technical documentation for the authorisation file.

Can it operate in summer? Yes — in summer when outdoor temperature is lower than indoor (cool nights), CHR 800 operates in free cooling mode, supplying cool air without activating air conditioning. Additional savings in the warm season.

What filter upgrade is recommended? Standard Class G filter retains coarse dust and protects the heat exchanger. For allergy and asthma sufferers or medical offices: upgrade to F7 — retains 80%+ of fine PM1 particles. F7 filters available from local stock at ventilation.ro.
